First Aid training is one of the most important life skills and qualifications you can possess.

We offer more than just a certificate- our highly interactive and tailor made training courses will leave you with a vivid memory of what you have learnt and feeling empowered to act in an emergency situtation.

Indie Outdoors is run by Indie Lyndale who is an International Mountain Leader and qualified teacher as well as being a first aid trainer. Her experience as an outdoor instructor has meant that she has had to deal with real medical emergencies in remote places and she brings this experience to the class room.

We have tailored courses for teachers, osteopaths, solicitors, acupuncturists, outdoor instructors, homeopaths and world travellers.

Instructional booklets and guides are provided and slide show presentations and resuscitation dummy demonstrations are included.
All courses are HSE approved and all participants will receive certificates at the end of each course. Prices are per person.

HSE Approved First Aid at Work Courses (FAW)
Duration: 4 Days
Designed for anyone over 16 years of age that will be a nominated First Aider in the Workplace.
This course meets the requirements of the HSE and is valid for a period of three years. £220 per person.

HSE Approved First Aid at Work Refresher Courses - Duration: 2 Days
For those already holding a current FAW certificate, who wish to renew their qualification.
A current FAW certificate must be produced on day one of this course. £130 per person.

HSE Recognized Appointed Person in the Workplace Courses - Duration: 1 Day
This course is designed with small businesses in mind, where it may be useful to have some knowledge of First Aid procedures, or in support of FAW's. £75 per person.

Explorer Medicine - 1 day basic course designed to give the individual a grounding in wilderness medicine.
This course exceeds the recommendations for the HSE recognized Appointed Person in the workplace. £75 per person.

Exploration Medicine - 2 day intermediate course designed for group leaders working in remote areas.
This course is recognized by all outdoor governing bodies e.g. MLTB, BCU, IRATA, RYA etc. as well as exceeding the recommendations for the HSE recognized Appointed Person in the workplace. £130 per person.
