Expedition Care Programme

The expedition care programme (ECP) has been developed by Royal Army medical corps trauma medics and experienced outdoor instructors to meet the growing needs of the expedition, outdoor activity and travel industries. We run two programmes:

Explorer Medicine

Duration: 1 day Price: £75 per person.
1 day basic course designed to give the individual a grounding in wilderness medicine.
This course exceeds the recommendations for the HSE recognized Appointed Person in the workplace.

Duration: 2 days Price: £130 per person An intermediate mountain medicine course designed for group leaders working in remote areas. Suitable for anyone looking for a wilderness first aid course.
This course is recognized by all outdoor governing bodies e.g. MLTB, BCU, IRATA, RYA etc. as well as exceeding the recommendations for the HSE recognized Appointed Person in the workplace.
